Teacher of the Year

This award recognises teachers who are bringing learning to life by engaging and inspiring all children and young people to fulfil their potential.

If you can respond positively and in some detail to the following questions, we would welcome your nomination.

• Is there a teacher in your school, or a school that you know, who stands out from the rest?

• Can you describe the qualities that make them a good teacher?

• Can you describe how they inspire you to achieve more than you might otherwise have done?

• Can you give examples of how they contribute beyond the classroom to the life of the school, including providing active examples on leadership?
